     of the Legendary  49-ers + Motorcycle Group.

Hasn't anyone realised yet, that we are not a club, we are simply a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who love to ride their bikes, not just polish and pose on them!

But we are a Legend I suppose (of sorts)  Although whoever started the rumour that we were a club must have been very naive (stupid) or just plain misinformed (stupid)

The name arose from the fact that  most of us were aged about the half century mark. ( that's fifty years old for the mathematically challenged among you).

So as a bit of a laugh (and to fuel the rumour mongers) the name was adopted for the small group of riders who met every Sunday, and continue to meet  for a ride out, and usually a bit of lunch.

We would like to take this opportunity  to make it absolutely clear that we are not associated with, the  Quay Vipers Motorcycle Club of Carrickfergus.this is due to some undesireable elements inside an otherwise good club.

You don't have to be old to be a 49-er, but some of us are not as young as we would like to be!!!!  
    our motto is ..... The older we get the faster we used to be!!!!!!

We are not actually crazy, just nuts about bikes.

We  ride a very mixed bag of machines...   lots of pictures to follow....   stay tuned..........don't go away...
